Operated on seven miles of historic trackage once owned by the famed K&T Railway. This trip is full of spectacular scenic vistas, lush vegetation and mountain streams. Sit back and enjoy the wide open vistas, roaring rivers, and the history and charm of Appalachia, as we transport you back in time to our halfway point- the Barthell Coal Camp, the sight of the Stearns Company’s Mines 1 and 2, and, today, privately owned and renovated by the Koger Family. Your ticket also includes admission to the McCreary County Museum in Stearns. This attraction is open from April until December.
